I read this book months ago, and I think I came out of it feeling similar to what you express here. I also devoured it within the span of a day, but I was very uncomfortable about a lot of it. Especially since the back cover had all these quotes about how hilarious it was. I didn't find it funny at all; I found it incredibly disturbing. And I'm a fan of dark humour. That's not to say I didn't like it, but it wasn't a pleasant reading experience for me.
