I had eight stories published in 2011, a very good year for my short fiction (plus one essay and two reprints). The story I'm happiest with is "Black Betty," which is up at Crossed Genres. The story I'm proudest of is "Something More," which appeared in the WisCon Guest of Honor book Something More and More published by Aqueduct Press. I thought writing that story would kill me, but it didn't. I had a huge amount of help from my editor and from others, and I hope it does something of what I want it to do.
