Race is highly context-based with regard to people in/from the eastern Mediterranean and West Asia; it strongly depends on who's asking and why. (Arguably, that's true everywhere...) The comm policy is to let individual members make their own decisions with respect to authors who occupy that fuzzy edge-case space. Unless someone has follow-up info that one of these authors IDs as white, or that said author is part of a population that is clearly understood to be white, I'm going to leave them in the list.
