Angus Wallam and Suzanne Kelly, Corroboree, illustrated by Norma MacDonald (2004)

This children's book was published by the University of Western Australia Press after winning the Marrwarnging award.

Unfortunately, I'd have to say it is not one of the more gripping children's stories I've experienced. It reads like a vocabulary list - he sees the kangaroo, he hunts with his spear, he digs with his digging stick. There is actually a vocabulary list attached to the cover pages and I imagine it would be useful for those learning Nyungar (a group associated with the South West of Western Australia).
