Writers of Color 50 Books Challenge

That's a really good question, and to be honest, I hadn't given it much thought before writing this post. The Turkish people I've known don't seem to consider themselves white, but I haven't asked them about it in those terms, so I could have a mistaken impression. I also don't know what the more general opinion of race in Turkey is.
