Thank you for these great reviews, except now I want to buy both, and my "to read" list is super long already. I really appreciate the time you took to detail your qualms with the first one - I hope some of those issues would have registered with me, but I know all of them wouldn't, and they all seem necessary to keep in mind.
And the second one sounds AWESOME. Seriously, could you maybe... Use high quality scans or something? Because I clicked the review you linked to, and the image posted of the book in mural form is sooooooo cooooooool... But yeah, I'm one of those people who would feel very sad ripping up the book. I don't own a nice scanner, but it might even be worth it to try kinkos, since it could be cheaper than three copies of the book (since I'd want to keep one for my shelf...) Yeaaaah, clearly I ought to read the book first. :D But I love books that challenge how their genre's supposed to go... So, thanks again!
