I just saw a mention of the community in kate_nepveu's journal. The idea intrigues me and I think I'll join in. I read lots of stuff and I'm not always sure when it's by POC so that will get me to be more aware of what I'm doing. Or not doing.

I'm pretty slow at this too, started in on last year's cycle.

What kind of books do you like?

Oh, I like pretty much anything. I read mostly mystery and fantasy, but also sf, popular science, cookbooks, beading books, polymer clay books, and the occasional western. I don't read a lot of contemporary fiction though. I also spend too much time reading blogs and LJ. And have added Twitter recently.

Ooh, you'll have fun checking the comm tags -- there's already lots of sf/fantasy, some popular science, and some cookbooks.

No westerns or polymer clay books yet, but maybe you'll be the first one to add some? :)
